As part of its commitment to providing sustainable infrastructure, the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) executed a vital water project in Omuanwa, Rivers State. The project involved the installation of standard 10,000-gallon solar-powered potable water facilities at Community Secondary School Omuanwa and State School 2 Omuanwa.
The facilities have provided reliable access to potable water for students and the surrounding community, reducing water scarcity and improving health standards. This project demonstrates NDDC’s dedication to enhancing infrastructure and fostering development in the Niger Delta region.
This initiative not only provides clean water but also promotes sustainability through the use of solar energy. By empowering schools and communities with essential resources, the project contributes to long-term development and improved quality of life.
